Outside of Work

My family comes from a Middle Eastern background. I speak Arabic and English. I was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota as a first generation US citizen, and shortly after we immigrated to Canada, making me a second generation Canadian as well. I grew up in London, Ontario, Canada, and yes, that does mean I have 3 citizenships. Actually 2, but I can get the third!

I have 5 siblings and I sit somewhere in the middle. I spend my time between US and Canada, but like to call Tampa my home!

I'm a super avid outdoorsman, love to hike and climb mountains to the worrisome of my loved-ones. That is why I began my professional career in exploration field geology searching for gold!

Also I am really bad at Jiu-Jitsu but I love to compete, also to the worrisome of my loved-ones, especially my mum. I have been training in MMA for more than 5 years, in Taekwondo, Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay-Thai, MMA, Wrestling, and Jiu-Jitsu.

I have been playing Chess since 2013. I love to compete in Chess! Fun fact, I have played in official chess tournaments in more than 4 countries. CFC rating, FIDE rating, Local London rating.

Also, I love teaching math. I have been privately tutoring math since 2015, while I was an undergrad.

I am a professional artist, or at least that's what I tell others when I try to be cool. I actually have sold paintings online and even commissioned a painting. I know, even I am so surprised at that. View my store on Etsy.

I really like to read! But I am overoptimistic in the amount of time I have to read, so I collect books faster than I read them lol.
